QA Engineer (Manual + Automation)
We are seeking a detail-focused QA Engineer to join our team and support the delivery of reliable, high-quality frontend-heavy web applications. This role is suited for an early-career professional who is sharp, organized, and passionate about software quality.
This role involves validating web applications to make sure they meet quality, functionality, and usability standards before launch. You will partner with developers and project teams to identify defects, retest fixes, and help deliver a smooth user experience.
This position focuses on manual testing, test case preparation, defect reporting, and learning automation testing tools. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about improving product quality while working in a collaborative and fast-moving team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing across web applications, including functional, regression, and UI testing
- Create, update, and maintain test cases, test plans, and detailed bug reports
- Work with developers to reproduce issues, track defects, and verify bug fixes
- Support automation testing using tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium
- Participate in sprint ceremonies and contribute to key quality checkpoints
- Communicate test progress, risks, and blockers clearly with the team
Skills required:
- Good understanding of software testing basics, including SDLC, test cases, and defect lifecycle
- Hands-on exposure to manual testing through academic projects, internships, or training
- Basic awareness of automation testing tools such as Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium
- Familiarity with browser developer tools and the working flow of web applications
- Strong attention to detail with clear, structured, and analytical thinking
- Good written communication skills for clear bug reporting and test documentation
